Focous: The proposed project will initiate community-based conservation including the practice of river stretch co-management. The project will form Community Aquatic Animal Conservation Group (CAACG) to support and implement the concept of river stretch co-management. The project will be concentrated in the upstream area of Lower Karnali watershed which includes Panchapuri municipality and Barahatal rural municipality of Surkhet district and Mohonyal rural municipality of Kailali district.
